MCA 2009 Fall Semester SAT Program Registration Information
What does SAT stand for and why do students have to take it?
SAT is originally an abbreviation of Scholastic Assessment Test, the name College Board is actually not using any more. It is an important admission criterion for American colleges and universities. A high score can help you stand out from other applicants.
What is the MCA SAT program?
The MCA SAT program is a test preparation program designed specifically for immigrant students by MCA (Minnesota China Academy). The program provides students with skills needed to succeed on each section of the SAT. The program first started in 2001 and has successfully operated for 9 years and trained close to 500 students. Many students who participated in the program got high scores on their SAT tests and got accepted into prestigious universities.
